Yes. Once seizures are characterized and initial workup is complete, most epilepsy management — medication adjustments, side-effect monitoring, lifestyle counseling, and safety planning — is well-suited to virtual care.

Yes. When an EEG is indicated, we order routine, ambulatory, or extended EEG at a facility local to you, review the tracing and report, and integrate results into your treatment plan.

Yes. Most anti-seizure medications can be prescribed and adjusted through virtual visits. Certain controlled medications may have additional state-specific requirements, which we will review with you.

Call 911 for any seizure lasting more than 5 minutes, repeated seizures without recovery, injury, or difficulty breathing. For non-emergent events, message us through the patient portal — we will review the event and adjust your plan as needed.

Driving eligibility depends on state law, seizure type, and how long you have been seizure-free. We review your state's requirements, document seizure-free intervals, and provide the medical documentation your DMV or licensing agency requires.

A first seizure evaluation includes a detailed history (often with a witness account), neurological exam, EEG, and MRI. We coordinate testing locally, review results with you, and determine whether long-term treatment is needed.
