Yes. Migraine is a clinical diagnosis based on your headache history, symptom pattern, triggers, and neurological exam — all of which can be thoroughly evaluated during a video visit. Imaging is ordered only when clinically indicated to rule out secondary causes.

Yes. When appropriate, we prescribe modern migraine therapies — including CGRP monoclonal antibodies (Aimovig, Emgality, Ajovy, Vyepti), gepants (Nurtec, Ubrelvy, Qulipta), triptans, and preventive medications — and send prescriptions to your local pharmacy.

A sudden, severe, or 'thunderclap' headache is a medical emergency and requires an in-person evaluation. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Virtual visits are appropriate for recurring or chronic headache patterns after any red-flag features have been excluded.

Yes. We create structured plans to reduce medication overuse, stabilize the underlying headache disorder, and introduce evidence-based preventive therapy so you can safely reduce reliance on acute medications.

Not always. Most primary headache disorders do not require imaging. If your history or exam suggests a secondary cause, we order an MRI or CT at a facility local to you and coordinate insurance-based testing whenever possible.

Yes. We evaluate and manage trigeminal autonomic cephalalgias including cluster headache, paroxysmal hemicrania, and hemicrania continua, and coordinate oxygen therapy, verapamil, indomethacin, and other targeted treatments as appropriate.
